warranty & repairs
All products sold on Atlas are covered by our standard one-year warranty. This warranty applies to every item we sell, regardless of brand, and is designed to keep things simple and predictable for you.
What a warranty usually covers
Most manufacturers cover defects in materials and workmanship. This means problems that show up even though the product was used normally, such as:
- Broken buckles or hardware that fail early
- Delamination on skis or snowboards
- Cracked baseplates on bindings
- Zippers or seams on outerwear that fail prematurely
Warranties do not cover wear and tear, cosmetic damage, misuse, or damage caused by things like rails, rocks, or transportation.

How to start a claim
To submit a warranty request, we'll need:
Step 1:
Your order number
Step 2:
Clear photos or a short video showing the issue
Step 3:
A brief explanation of what happened
Once we receive your claim, our team will review it. Most claims are resolved quickly, and we’ll keep you updated throughout the process.
What happens after approval
Depending on the brand, you may receive:
- A repair at no cost
- A replacement of the same model
- A comparable current-season model if the original is unavailable
- A store credit if replacement isn’t possible
Most brands choose repair first if the damage is fixable.
If your claim isn’t covered
If the issue falls outside of warranty (for example, impact damage), we’ll let you know. Some brands offer paid repair options, and we can help you navigate that.
Tips to avoid issues
A few habits help extend the life of your gear:
- Keep bindings tightened to manufacturer guidelines
- Avoid leaving skis or snowboards in direct heat
- Let boots dry fully between sessions
- Rinse off metal parts after riding in salty, slushy conditions
